The fast snake bites

I pointed to this monster a few weeks back. Now rumour has it that it might actually go into limited production! The major liability insurance companies weren’t available for comment.

  1. bleh, so what’s the big deal- it isn’t even really a motorcycle. “engine sitting out in the elements with some wheels beneath it.” Under whose authority does that last sentence accurately describe a ‘motorcycle?’ It is not held up or steered by gyros- it has FOUR WHEELS for crying out loud. If you ask me, there is absolutely no aesthetic value in this thing whatsoever- the design is a tiny single-seated car with a turning radius bigger than that of my mother’s Ford Excursion. Lean angle clearance of 45 degrees… the freaking dresser Harley i used to ride will tip farther than that before making sparks. Take a look at the Marine Turbine Technologies turboshaft bike, powered by the engine from a Bell JetRanger. There’s a real motorcycle. Too bad that putz Jay Leno had to go buy one, significantly hampering it’s coolness factor.

  2. I did not see your earlier post, I would’ve linked to it. I’m not a harley or any type of motorcycle purist, I just enjoy riding, so while it is gaudy, the tomahawk is still freakin cool.
