Laurence Simon reminded me what a great movie The Shawshank Redemption is with his review over at Blogcritics, so when I happened to see the DVD on sale at Walmart this evening, I couldn’t resist.
That is a pretty good review. I just bought A Lion In Winter and A Man for All Seasons (it stars a Scofield!). good flicks. eh, back to work…
Haven’t seen A Lion in Winter, but enjoyed a Man for All Seasons when I watched it for a lit class a couple of years ago.
i really like A Man for All Seasons. i haven’t seen it lately and was thinking about buying it to educate some of the guys on the floor to the wonder of Scofield.
